Nick Vijicic

A touching clip, an inspiration man, a meaningful saying : "I may not have hands to hold my wife's hand, but when time comes, I will be able to hold her heart. I don't need hands to hold her heart". Looking at him, listen to him, I couldn't control my tears, so, what are the things in this world to complain about, and suddenly I realised my problem has become very, very small. To share with you this clip, be motivated, be happy and be contented always.

A Visit To Mines Wonderland

It might be ashamed that as a Malaysian, this was my first visit to Mines Wonderland in KL. However,it was a great disapointment that there was nothing special to look around. The crowd was not attractive as well even during year end holiday. If based on the ground that this is a holiday resort, this one definitely is a deficit. Just take a look at our neighbouring country Singapore, the crowd in Sentosa Island is fantastic. Anyway, I have taken video of the multiracial musical fountain presentation in a way to promote the resort though it was not as good as compared to the one in Sentosa Island.

That's Life

This is meaningful to share with:

God created the donkey and said to him."You will be a donkey. You will work un-tiringly from sunrise to sunset carrying burdens on your back. You will eat grass, you will have no intelligence and you will live 50 years." The donkey answered:
"I will be a donkey, but to live 50 years is much. Give me only 20years"
God granted his wish.
....................................................................
God created the dog and said to him:
"You will guard the house of man. You will be his best Friend.
You will eat the scraps that he gives you and you will live 30years.
You will be a dog. " The dog answered:"Sir, to live 30years is too much, give me only15 years." God granted his wish

........................................................................
God created the monkey and said to him:
"You will be a monkey. You will swing from branch to branch doing tricks.
You will be amusing and you will live 20 years." The monkey answered:
"To live 20years is too much, give me only 10years." God granted his wish.
....................................................................
Finally God created man and said to him:
"You will be man, the only rational creature on the face of the earth.
You will use your intelligence to become master over all the animals.
You will dominate the world and you will live 20years."
Man responded: "Sir, I will be a man but to live only
20 years is very little, give me the 30 years that the donkey refused, the 15 years that the dog did not want and the 10 years the monkey refused." God granted man's wish
And since then, man lives 20 years as a man, marries and spends 30 years like a donkey, working and carrying all the burdens on his back. Then when his children are grown, he lives 15 years like a dog taking care of the house and eating whatever is given to him, so that when he is old,he can retire and live 10 years like a monkey, going from house to house and from one son or daughter to another doing tricks to amuse his grandchildren. --------That's Life.-----

A Little Poem ~Cheers To all Elders!!

We must all enjoy whenever we can before it is too late !

Another year has passed and we're all a little older.
Last summer felt hotter and winter seems much colder.

There was a time not long ago when life was quite a blast.
Now I fully understand about 'Living in the Past'

We used to go to weddings, football games and lunches.
Now we go to funeral homes, and after-funeral brunches.

We used to have hangovers, from parties that were gay.
Now we suffer body aches and wile the night away.

We used to go out dining, and couldn't get our fill.
Now we ask for doggie bags, come home and take a pill.

We used to often travel to places near and far.
Now we get sore asses from riding in the car.

We used to go to nightclubs and drink a little booze.
Now we stay home at night and watch the evening news.

That, my friend is how life is, and now my tale is told.
So, enjoy each day and live it up... before you're too damned old!

A Story To Live By

-I received it from one of my members and I felt this is meaningful and worth to share with every one of you in the world:-

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.'
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.
He asked her,'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him. Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.'

*This is how the human brain often works when our status changes*. Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations.
*Life Is a Gift*
Today before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.
Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who died too early on this earth.
Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires children but they're barren.
Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean or sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets.
Before whining about the distance you drive -Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.
But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - *Remember that not one of us is without sin*.
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and think: you're alive and still around.

DANCE BENEFITS

(Extracted from Jo & John Kinser TIPs of DANCE BENEFITS)
Seems like everyone these days has such a busy schedule that finding time to play is becoming increasingly difficult. When you consider the many benefits of dance, you realize how valuable dancing can be, especially for anyone with little spare time. Dancing is a great hobby that allows you to exercise and socialize at the same time, and have fun in the process!

THE TOP 10 BENEFITS OF DANCE:

1. MAKE NEW FRIENDS!
Dancing is a very social activity, allowing you to meet people from a wide variety of backgrounds and of all ages. Couples make new 'couples' friends, and singles meet other singles. Whether you're in a dance class or attending a dance party, it's a great way to socialize.

2. GET HEALTHY EXERCISE!
Raise your body's metabolism while burning off excess calories. You won't even realize your working out because you're having so much fun! Dancing provides a great way to shake out the muscle kinks and the tension you acquire in your daily grind.

3. GET OUT AND NETWORK!
No more "Couch Potato", "Computer Nerd", or "Workaholic!" Become a dancer and you'll look forward to attending your next dance activity. Plus, your new friends from the dance world create a great networking forum.

4. DO SOMETHING FUN TOGETHER!
Social dancing provides a fun activity for you and your significant other to enjoy as a couple. Group classes are entertaining as well as informative. You'll share many laughs and enjoy the bond between you strengthen as you learn a new hobby together.

5. CREATE BALANCE IN YOUR LIFE!
Of course dancing helps you with physical balance and coordination, but it also helps you mentally. Our lives have become so mechanized, computerize, televised, etc. that many of us have lost touch with or bodies and the energy generated when we are physically active. Dancing improves your posture, the way you carry and project yourself, how you interact with others, your level of self-confidence, as well as your mental attitude. It gives you that "get up and go!" and "just do it!" feeling in life.

6. INCREASE YOUR SOCIAL SKILLS!
Partner dancing has been a valued and respected social skill throughout the ages and is now more popular than ever! As you learn to dance you will gain confidence, knowing you can go out and feel comfortable mixing with people. You will enjoy the respect of others and the popularity that goes along with being a good dancer!

7. EXPAND YOUR DATING HORIZONS!
Dance classes, clubs and parties provide a great venue for meeting other singles in a setting that feels more natural than dating networks. While you're attending an event to practice your dance skills you may discover that you 'click' with someone special! However, if you don't feel 'sparks', there are no expectations, you simply thank them for the dance and move on. Most importantly, you'll have fun just dancing! You'll also be amazed at the number of people you'll meet!

8. "HEAR THAT FUNKY MUSIC!"
As members of the human race, music is our birth rite! Rhythm is at the core of our lives, from our heartbeat, to our daily routines, to the flow of the seasons. It is no wonder music speaks to our souls! Music lifts our spirits as it helps relieve our stresses and worries. What greater way to bring more music into your life than through dance!

9. IT'S INEXPENSIVE!
Compared to other recreational activities and hobbies, dancing is very inexpensive. You can take an hour dance class for ten dollars and receive all of the benefits listed above as you learn a valuable lifelong skill. That's a great deal!

10. BECAUSE YOU CAN AND IT'S FUN!
Anyone can become an accomplished social dancer. Unlike Ballet or Jazz, you don't need years of training to learn partner dancing. Within a few weeks of group classes you'll be leading or following your dance partners at the clubs and parties. You're a dancer! Best of all, you'll really have fun!

Beautiful Advice

An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.'

  1. Pray

  2. Go to bed on time.

  3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

  4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.

  5. Delegate tasks to capable others.

  6. Simplify and unclutter your life.

  7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)

  8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.

  9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.

  10. Take one day at a time.

  11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.

  12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

  13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.

  14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

  15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

  16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.

  17. Get enough rest.

  18. Eat right.

  19. Get organized so everything has its place.

  20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

  21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.

  22. Every day, find time to be alone.

  23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.

  24. Make friends with Godly people.

  25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.

  26. Laugh.

  27. Laugh some more!

  28. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.

  29. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

  30. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).

  31. Sit on your ego.

  32. Talk less; listen more.

  33. Slow down.

  34. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.

  35. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!!

Thrill The World

Hi, still remember our Cindy from Oregon especially members of FS? I received her mail recently regarding her performance in the Thrill The World world records. They put it on the web and here is the clip where you can see Cindy and her daughter(Katie) and her message goes:
"They put the portland thrill the world on the web. Katie and I are in the first one where you cannot even hear the music. Katie kept popping up in her white hat and then she danced for a few beats while I watched :), The second one down you can hear music and I was way too close to the front(3 or 4 rows back). I didn't know anyone there, but they all seemed nice. I was wearing the blue and black iron maiden Tshirt. You can tell I didnt know the dance as well as others! I should have moved back. I didn't get much practice time in :). I'm sure they'll do it again next year. Maybe you guys will want to try dancing to this at 2 AM October 2009! Happy halloween! Cheers!!!" Cindy
Article : on 25th October 2008, Portland zombies will gather together in the name of all that is holy and dance to Michael Jackson "Thriller". At the same time, all across the world, other zombies in other cities will be doing the same thing, we are going for a world record here.....

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!

Believe it or not??? IT'S ME!!! ???
Hallowe'en
Hallowe'en, name applied to the evening of October 31, preceding the Christian feast of Hallowmas, Allhallows, or All Saints' Day. The observances connected with Hallowe'en are thought to have originated among the ancient Druids, who believed that on that evening, Saman, the lord of the dead, called forth hosts of evil spirits. The Druids customarily lit great fires on Hallowe'en, apparently for the purpose of warding off all these spirits. Among the ancient Celts, Hallowe'en was the last evening of the year and was regarded as a propitious time for examining the portents of the future. The Celts also believed that the spirits of the dead revisited their earthly homes on that evening. After the Romans conquered Britain, they added to Hallowe'en features of the Roman harvest festival held on November 1 in honour of Pomona, goddess of the fruits of trees.
The Celtic tradition of lighting fires on Hallowe'en survived until modern times in Scotland and Wales, and the concept of ghosts and witches is still common to all Hallowe'en observances. Traces of the Roman harvest festival survive in the custom, prevalent in both the United States and Great Britain, of playing games involving fruit, such as ducking for apples in a tub of water. Of similar origin is the use of hollowed-out pumpkins carved to resemble grotesque faces and lit by candles placed inside.
"HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!"

Don't Mess With Mature Ladies

This is good! To all women who are over 40's, this is the good one to share with.

A mature (over 40) lady gets pulled over for speeding...

Older Woman: Is there a problem,Officer?
Officer : Ma'am, you were speeding.
Older Woman: Oh, I see.
Officer : Can I see your license please?
Older Woman: I'd give it to you but I don't have one.
Officer : Don't have one?
Older Woman: Lost it, 4 years ago for drunk driving.
Officer : I see...Can I see your vehicle registration papers please.
Older Woman: I can't do that.
Officer : Why not?
Older Woman: I stole this car.
Officer : Stole it?
Older Woman: Yes, and I killed and hacked up the owner.
Officer : You what?
Older Woman: His body parts are in plastic bags in the trunk if you want to see

The Officer looks at the woman and slowly backs away to his car and calls for back up. Within minutes 5 police cars circle the car. A senior officer slowly approaches the car, clasping his half drawn gun.

Officer 2: Ma'am, could you step out of your vehicle please! The woman steps out of her vehicle.
Older woman: Is there a problem sir?
Officer 2: One of my officers told me that you have stolen this car and murdered the owner.
Older Woman: Murdered the owner?
Officer 2: Yes, could you please open the trunk of your car, please.
The woman opens the trunk, revealing nothing but an empty trunk.

Officer 2: Is this your car, ma'am?
Older Woman: Yes, here are the registration papers.
The officer is quite stunned.

Officer 2: One of my officers claims that you do not have a driving license.
The woman digs into her handbag and pulls out a clutch purse and hands it to the officer.
The officer examines the license. He looks quite puzzled.

Officer 2: Thank you ma'am, one of my officers told me you didn't have a license, that you stole this car, and that you murdered and hacked up the owner.

Older Woman: Bet the liar told you I was speeding, too.

DANZ CLUB FUNCTION WITH MY FS MEMBERS

Here are some of the highlights:

"Happiness keeps you Sweet,
Trials keep you Strong,
Sorrows keep you Human,
Failures keep you Humble,
Success keeps you Glowing ,
But Only Friends Keep You Going!
"
--Quote of the day--

For more photos please browse my web album.

A NIGHT FUNCTION

Me and my fellow members attended a party on the 18th October 2008 in conjunction with the 1st Anniversary Celebration of Danz Club. I joined in the performance of the Hawaiian dance whereby I had only one pratice with the staffs and members of the club. Hope I did not spoil the performance, my appologies if I did. Anyway, it was just for the fun of it and seems that everybody was enjoying that night.......

P/S: I was wearing sport shoes while doing the dance while others were bare footed. I was told that my appearance is more like Mickey Mouse rather than an Hawaiian girl, very funny. What say you? Thanks Fred for your comments!

I was invited to lead one line dance during the dinner. I chose Monica cos love the song and the dance is also interesting, thanks to Winnie for the choreography. Unfortunately the video was not taken in good condition due to some unforseen malfunction of the video camcorder plus, the video man is not a professional moreover I can't fire him cos he is my hubby...The only way to save the video clip is to cut and join and make up to one piece but the sequence of the dance off course is already out. However, I manage to keep this as a remembrance.

Note: Please check with the Principal, Richard & Kelly of Danz Club for the new line dance class coming up soon at this number 04-2277646.

Here you are, our Mr Hawaiian of that night, Fred. Hooray! your are great!! Congrats!!!

QUOTE OF THE DAY - 7%

Received this article from my Laoshi, Jean Yeoh, I have read this long time ago but I would like to share this with all of you as it's meaningful ...

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, 'Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.'

The Lord led the holy man to two doors.

He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful.

But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.
The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.
The Lord said, 'You have seen Hell.

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-hand led spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, 'I don't understand.'

'It is simple,' said the Lord.
'It requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.'

When Jesus died on the cross, He was thinking of you. Its estimated 93% won't share this with. If you are one of the 7% who will, share this with the Title '7%'.

I'm in the 7%
Remember that I will always share my spoon with you

A Touching Story

Hope you will enjoy and be blessed with this story.

A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted. As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaite d signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat Disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed in gold. Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said, "With all your money you give me a Bible? and stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things. When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11, "And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?" As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected? Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for... IF YOUR GIFT IS NOT PACKED THE WAY YOU WANT IT, IT'S BECAUSE IT IS BETTER PACKED THAT WAY! ALWAYS APPRECIATE LITTLE THINGS; THEY USUALLY LEAD YOU TO ATTACHMENTS!

Makes you think.....

The Wooden Bowl

I guarantee you will remember the tale of the Wooden Bowl tomorrow, a week from now, a month from now, a year from now.

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year-old grandson.
The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered.

The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and
failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor.
When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth. The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. 'We must do something about father,' said the son.
'I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor.' So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner. Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl. When the family glanced in Grandfather's direction, sometimes he had a tear in his eye as he sat alone.
Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food. The four-year-old watched it all in silence.

One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor.
He asked the child sweetly, 'What are you making?' Just as sweetly, the boy responded,
'Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up. ' The four-year-old smiled and went back to work. The words so struck the parents so that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done. That evening the husband took Grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table. For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.

On a positive note, I've learnt that, no matter what happens,
how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.
I've learnt that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles four things:
a rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.
I've learnt that, regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.
I've learnt that making a 'living' is not the same thing as making a 'life..'
I've learnt that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learnt that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.
I've learnt that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But, if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you.
I've learnt that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.
I've learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.
I've learnt that every day, you should reach out and touch someone. People love that human touch -- holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.
And lastly, I've learnt that I still have a lot to learn.

ARE YOU A DUCK OR AN EAGLE???

Ducks Quack , Eagles Fly - this article is meaningful which I wish to share with all of you.

No one can make you serve customers well. That's because great service is a choice.

Harvey Mackay, tells a wonderful story about a cab driver that proved this point. He was waiting in line for a ride at the airport. When a cab pulled up, the first thing Harvey noticed was that the taxi was polished to a bright shine. Smartly dressed in a white shirt, black tie, and freshly pressed black slacks, the cab driver jumped out and rounded the car to open the back passenger door for Harvey .He handed my friend a laminated card and said:'I'm Wally, your driver. While I'm loading your bags in the trunk I'd like you to read my mission statement.'Taken aback, Harvey read the card. It said:Wally's Mission Statement:To get my customers to their destination in the quickest, safest and cheapest way possible in a friendly environment. This blew Harvey away. Especially when he noticed that the inside of the cab matched the outside. Spotlessly clean! As he slid behind the wheel, Wally said, 'Would you like a cup of coffee? I have a thermos of regular and one of decaf.' My friend said jokingly, 'No, I'd prefer a soft drink.'Wally smiled and said, 'No problem. I have a cooler up front with regular and Diet Coke, water and orange juice.'Almost stuttering, Harvey said, 'I'll take a Diet Coke.' Handing him his drink, Wally said, 'If you'd like something to read, I have The Wall Street Journal, Time, Sports Illustrated and USA Today.'As they were pulling away, Wally handed my friend another laminated card. 'These are the stations I get and the music they play, if you'd like to listen to the radio.'And as if that weren't enough, Wally told Harvey that he had the air conditioning on and asked if the temperature was comfortable for him. Then he advised Harvey of the best route to his destination for that time of day. He also let him know that he'd be happy to chat and tell him about some of the sights or, if Harvey preferred, to leave him with his own thoughts.'Tell me, Wally,' my amazed friend asked the driver, 'have you always served customers like this?'Wally smiled into the rear view mirror. 'No, not always. In fact, it's only been in the last two years. My first five years driving, I spent most of my time complaining like all the rest of the cabbies do. Then I heard the personal growth guru, Wayne Dyer, on the radio one day.He had just written a book called You'll See It When You Believe It. Dyer said that if you get up in the morning expecting to have a bad day, you'll rarely disappoint yourself. He said, 'Stop complaining! Differentiate yourself from your competition. Don't be a duck. Be an eagle. Ducks quack and complain. Eagles soar above the crowd.'''That hit me right between the eyes,' said Wally. 'Dyer was really talking about me. I was always quacking and complaining, so I decided to change my attitude and become an eagle. I looked around at the other cabs and their drivers. The cabs were dirty, the drivers were unfriendly, and the customers were unhappy. So I decided to make some changes. I put in a few at a time. When my customers responded well, I did more.''I take it that has paid off for you,' Harvey said.'It sure has,' Wally replied. 'My first year as an eagle, I doubled my income from the previous year. This year I'll probably quadruple it. You were lucky to get me today. I don't sit at cabstands anymore. My customers call me for appointments on my cell phone or leave a message on my answering machine. If I can't pick them up myself, I get a reliable cabbie friend to do it and I take a piece of the action.'Wally was phenomenal. He was running a limo service out of a Yellow Cab. I've probably told that story to more than fifty cab drivers over the years, and only two took the idea and ran with it. Whenever I go to their cities, I give them a call. The rest of the drivers quacked like ducks and told me all the reasons they couldn't do any of what I was suggesting.

Wally the Cab Driver made a different choice. He decided to stop quacking like ducks and start soaring like eagles. How about us???

HAVE A GOOD LAUGH

Never laugh at a Chinese!

A Chinese man walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan officer.

He tells the loan officer that he is going to China on business for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000.

The bank officer tells him that the bank will need some form of security for the loan, so the Chinese man hands over the keys to a new Ferrari parked on the street in front of the bank.

He produces the title and everything checks out. The Loan officer agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan. The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the Chinese for using a $250,000 Ferrari as collateral against a $5,000 loan. An employee of the bank then drives the Ferrari into the bank's underground garage and parks it there.

Two weeks later, the Chinese returns, repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41.

The loan officer says, 'Sir, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multi-millionaire. What puzzles us is why you would bother to borrow $5,000?

The Chinese replies: 'Where else in New York City can I park my car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there safely when I return.'
