PHILOSOPHY OF LIFE

Here is another article I received today. The power of attitude, an optimistc attitude makes life easy and happy.

The Power of Attitude!

There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.
'Well,' she said, 'I think I'll braid my hair today.'
So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head.
'H-M-M,' she said, 'I think I'll part my hair down the middle today.'
So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head.
'Well,' she said, 'today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail.'
So she did, and she had a fun, fun day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head.
'YAY!' she exclaimed.
'I don't have to fix my hair today!'

Attitude is everything.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Live simply,
Love generously,
Care deeply,
Speak kindly.......

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...

It's about learning to dance in the rain.

PHILOSOPHY OF LIFE

The article was extracted from a Chinese paper and was sent to me in Chinese, so to retain the origin of the story, I post it without translating. Sorry to those who do not understand Chinese, perhaps you would have to ask for an assistance.
After reading this, we should do more and less complaint, always be contented with what we have, and our life is full of hope......

WHAT A LOVING COUPLE

This article was received this morning and I would like to share it with all of you. Specially dedicated to all loving couple, life comes and goes, so value the precious marriage life, respect him/her, be faithful, be patient, be mindful, and understanding.....
This is another expression towards LOVE: "Love is an intense emotional attachment towards ones object of affection. It is a deep sense of belonging and loyalty that in its purest form, knows no boundaries."

Here you are, this is Q........
The sharing of marriage... (share everything...)

The old man placed order for one hamburger, French fries and a drink.
He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half, placing one half in front of his wife.
He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.
He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them . As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them were looking over and whispering.

Obviously they were thinking, 'That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.'
As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table and politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said, they were just fine - they were used to sharing everything.

People closer to the table noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.
Again, the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said 'No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything.'

Finally, as the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked 'What is it you are waiting for?'

She answered

MY VIDEO

This is one and the only one video clip my friend edited and posted to youtube for me. It's my 10th May 2008 Glamourous Nite midyear jam welcoming dance. Actually I don't have any video in youtube cos I don't like to take video as I don't like my appearance in the video and my fellow line dance lovers also don't like to take video cos they said they can't dance or perform well if there is a video camcorder infront of them. So, I think I need to fix a hidden camera..........

WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD

This message was shared with me by a friend of mine in KL. It's wonderful.

"Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.
One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room ' s only window.
The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
The men talked for hours on end.

They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.
The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.
The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake.
Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by.

Although the other man could not hear the band - he could see it in his mind ' s eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days, weeks and months passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep.
She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone. Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.

It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, 'Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.' "

Epilogue:

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.
Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.
If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can ' t buy.
'Today is a gift, that is why it is called The Present.

FAREWELL LUNCH

"True friends are like diamonds, precious and rare,
False friends are like autumn leaves, found everywhere
"

Cindy, she came to Malaysia for only a year. She came in to intermediate line dance class at Fitness Studio with no basic at all. Today, she knew nearly 100 dances and she managed to complete 60 dances during my 10th May mid year jam, amazing!! Oh, in fact, all my fellow line dance lovers in FS know all the dances, they really put up their effort and fully support me thru out the years.
It is sad that Cindy has to go back to her hometown and we are going to miss her so much. Hope you won't give up line dance,we will always update you with dances we have gone thru. Adios!!!

Congratulation to Cindy, she has won a trophy (3rd placing) for the nite event "stay longest and graceful dancer" during the jam..
